Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 30, 2026

This policy explains what personal information Kratom Canada ("we", "us") gathers through kratomcanada.com, why we need it, who else handles it, and how to reach us about it. It applies to anyone who browses the site, places an order, joins our email list or writes to us.

What We Gather and When

Most of what we hold comes straight from you:

  • At checkout: your name, shipping and billing address, email address, phone number and the items in your order.
  • When you pay: orders are paid by Interac e-Transfer, which you send from your own bank, or by cash on delivery, which you pay to Canada Post when the parcel arrives. We see the details that come with the transfer, such as the sender name and email, so we can match it to your order. We never receive your online banking login.
  • Through the contact form or email: your name, email address and whatever you choose to write to us.
  • If you sign up for our emails: your email address and your subscription choices.

Some details are recorded automatically while you are on the site. Your browser passes along technical data such as your IP address, browser type and version, the pages you open, the date and time of each visit and how long you stay. Our store software also notes how you reached us (for example, a search engine or a link in an email) and attaches that to any order you place.

Why We Use It

  • To process, pack and ship your order and to send you its confirmation and tracking number.
  • To confirm that your e-Transfer has arrived before your order is released.
  • To answer your questions and sort out returns, damaged parcels or deliveries that went astray.
  • To send newsletters and offers, but only if you signed up for them.
  • To see how the site is used so we can fix problems and make it work better.
  • To protect the site and its forms from spam and abuse.

Outside Services That Handle Your Information

We rely on a handful of outside providers to run the store. Each one receives only what it needs for its part of the job:

  • Canada Post receives your name, delivery address and, where needed, your phone number so it can deliver and track your parcel.
  • Your bank and ours handle the Interac e-Transfer you send.
  • Google Analytics collects browsing data, set by cookies, to give us visitor statistics.
  • Mailchimp stores the addresses on our email list and sends our newsletters.
  • Google reCAPTCHA checks submissions to our contact form to filter out automated spam.
  • Cloudflare sits between your browser and our server to speed up the site and block malicious traffic, so it processes connection data such as your IP address.

Some of these providers may store or process data outside Canada, in which case it is subject to the laws of the country where it is held.

Cookies

A cookie is a small text file a website saves in your browser. We use cookies to keep your cart working, to remember where a visit came from, and to measure site traffic through Google Analytics. Your browser settings let you block cookies or get a warning before one is saved. If you block them, parts of the site, the cart and checkout in particular, may stop working properly.

Emails From Us

Order and shipping emails are part of filling your order, so they arrive whether or not you are on our mailing list. Promotional emails go only to people who opted in. Every one carries an unsubscribe link, and you can also email us to be taken off the list.

How Long We Keep It

We keep order records for as long as we need them to fill orders, deal with returns and meet our tax and bookkeeping obligations. Your email address stays on our marketing list until you unsubscribe.

Keeping It Safe

The site runs over an encrypted connection, and we take reasonable steps to guard what you share with us. Even so, no website or storage system can be made completely secure, so we can’t promise that information will never be exposed.

Seeing or Correcting Your Information

You may ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or withdraw consent to marketing emails at any time. Send the request to support@kratomcanada.com. Before releasing any details we may need to confirm that you are the person the information is about.

Updates to This Policy

When our practices change we will revise this page and move the date at the top. If a change is significant, we will also post a notice on the site or email customers whose address we have.
